The impossible boat repair
An elderly gentleman came to us with a dual propeller boat. All 4 propellers were severely corroded and virtually half missing. He had been told they were beyond repair by the local marina, with new ones costing $8,000 from America. He brought them to Mods N More, and within a week, we had them repaired. This shows that the impossible can be achieved with the right knowledge, experience and skills, saving him significant time and money. Needless to say the local marina became a believer in our skills and a customer.
A deal for a boat and a mowed lawn
A single mother, recently out of a difficult situation, purchased a small boat for her 12-year-old son, only to find severe cracks on both sides of the keel. She called, explaining her financial constraints. We offered to fix it, and in return, her son mowed our overgrown lawn with our mower.
